As a job seeker during this recession, many of my followers know I’ve been diligent with a variety of creative methods to reach out to prospective employers to get noticed, though many times, it has only been via “pen to paper.”
For those familiar with my Red Elephant Chocolate experience last month you’ve seen what activity live actions can generate.
Luckily, my story continues. After the experience, I did some in person networking with Mary Jane Sanchez (also a chocolate lover like myself), owner of Dynamismo Marketing and Events. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that she had been considering hiring an events manager to expand the event side of her business in 2013.
Though we’re still in the early stages of planning how the role will develop, the Dynamismo conversations may not have happened with out my “chocolate” efforts.
Consequently, as I reflect on these past few weeks, I am reminded that while cover letters/resumes and online CV matter, your actions may just have a stronger, more memorable impact on people.
Actions do speak louder than words. What actions will you take today?

I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you friend for your kind words and assistance!
