Do you succeed in business from the ground up, or, from hitting the ground running?

What sort of work do you do? When you were hired for your current job, did it require creating business opportunities from scratch, or was it an established role and you just had to hit the ground running to assimilate into the position?

My latest job requires a ground up approach, but I have been in both positions. Obviously, each has it own challenges. The question is, do you flourish best in one role or the other?

What are your thoughts about the opportunities? Is either better, or doesn’t it matter? It’s what you make of it, right?

If you were to give a lecture to college graduates, which type of job would you promote? What would you tell someone venturing out to find their niche in life?
